A drive through town
Uzbek is a Turkic word meaning ‘self-ruler’ and of course Stan means ‘land,’ so Uzbekistan is the land of self rulers. The stork is the national bird (in sculpture below). On the drive through town took a couple snapshots of Khrushchevkas, wondering if they will soon be gone. The first photo is of course the construction of new apartment buildings as seen from my hotel window. My destination for the day is below. IYKYK. Not planning to discuss.
